In this introduction course we will learn both how to play with Edison, AND how to control him!
Come discover all the amazing things a robot can do!
Learn how a robot works by bringing Edison to life. Students will learn how to control Edison’s sensors and devices. Students will teach Edison to follow a line, sumo wrestle, track a light, sense sounds, and avoid obstacles!
Edison provides a simple, yet powerful introduction to robotics. Students will learn about all of the components inside Edison and how they make a robot function.

The Standard version allows students to work in teams of 2 or 3.
Each team will work with an Edison robot.
The Deluxe version allows students to work in teams of 2 or 3,
and provides teams more time to work with an Edison robot.
The Extended version is a 2 hour workshop allowing students to do even more with Edison.
Group Size: This workshop is suited to groups of 20 - 200 students.
Larger groups will be split into smaller classes of approximately 15 - 20 children,
with classes running back-to-back. Length can be adjusted to suit group requirements

Prerequisites: None. Introductory course – no prior experience or skills needed.
