The Deluxe version allows students to make and keep a Squishy Robot.

The Extended version is a half-day workshop allowing students to learn more about circuits, as they make and keep 2 Squishy Robots.

Group Size: This workshop is suited to groups of 20 - 200 students.
Larger groups will be split into smaller classes of approximately 15 - 20 children,
with classes running back-to-back. Length can be adjusted to suit group requirements

Prerequisites: None. Introductory course – no prior experience or skills needed.
Materials Required: Special Playdough & Clay made/bought by the students before the workshop 

Students will be assigned to bring either Clay or Playdough to share.
Students will share/trade with each other to get colours they want (of playdough and clay).

Each student should bring 1 of the following to share:

PLAYDOUGH Kmart Playdough Bucket (4) 1/student
PLAYDOUGH Kmart Playdough Bucket (8) The 8 colour bucket is enough for 2 students
PLAYDOUGH Kmart Single Tub x 4 Get 4/student
PLAYDOUGH Any Play-Doh or Anko brand dough set with at least 4 tubs/student
PLAYDOUGH Homemade Playdough Please use this recipe  1/student
CLAY Kmart Modeling Clay Set 1 pack/student
CLAY Kmart Modeling Clay Bucket 1 bucket/student

Recipe for Conductive Playdough

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup salt (salt is the key ingredient to making it conduct electricity)
• 1/2 cup plain flour
• 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 tablespoon oil
• 3 drops liquid food coloring

Method:

• Mix all ingredients together in a medium-sized saucepan.
• Stir over heat until dough is pliable.
• Allow to cool, and store in a well- sealed plastic bag or container.
